Travelling with young children is easier when the vehicle is right before it arrives. A short conversation at booking time saves a great deal of standing on a kerb.
Tell us in advance
Let us know how many children are travelling and roughly how old they are when you arrange the journey. Where a child seat has specifically been requested, availability should be confirmed with us before you travel, please do not assume one will simply appear.
Space matters more than you think
A pushchair, a travel cot and a week's luggage will fill a saloon quickly. If you are travelling with a family and airport luggage, an MPV or larger vehicle is usually the right choice. Give us accurate passenger and luggage numbers and we will send something that fits.
The driver cannot carry more passengers than the vehicle is legally permitted to carry, and if requirements exceed the vehicle arranged, a larger or additional vehicle may be needed and additional charges may apply.
Who is responsible for what
We arrange the vehicle and, where requested and confirmed, the child seat. Parents and responsible adults remain responsible for supervising children throughout the journey.
Long journeys
For cruise transfers to Southampton or Dover, plan for a comfort stop. Tell us at the time of booking and the driver can build it into the route rather than improvising on a motorway.
